Eastern Lehigh Valley Softball would like to take this opportunity to honor one of our own, Mr. David Hoff. His contributions extended well beyond his role as Wilson's Organization Representative-the capacity that many of us first met him in. Forks Township, Bethlehem Township and Wilson all owe a great debt to Dave, and to his spirit of volunteerism. Please keep Dave's family in your thoughts as we move through the playoffs, into the Tournaments and well beyond.
The ELV wanted to keep Dave in our memory so we are issuing a plaque for all upcoming Metzger tournaments that Wilson hosts. We want this award to be what Dave stood for - sportsmanship, hustle, desire, class. This can go to the best player on your team or the worst, but we want it to go to the player that has all the attributes that Dave has had and coached with. We want this to go to the best teammate! |
